What began as one man’s fight for survival has grown into an international mission to make sure people facing serious illness never feel they have to navigate that journey alone.

Following the success of Don’t Sit Up, founder Ray Snow has become an engaging and empowering speaker, sharing the extraordinary story behind his survival, recovery and determination to turn one of the darkest periods of his life into something capable of helping others.

From severe acute pancreatitis and life-threatening complications to becoming an author, mentor and advocate, Ray speaks with the honesty that can only come from having lived the experience himself.

His talks aren't lectures about resilience.

They are stories of resilience lived in real life.

In September 2026, the Don’t Sit Up story crossed the Atlantic.

Erin Dalke, from Arizona, USA, joined Ray and the Don’t Sit Up team, bringing her own powerful experience, perspective and passion for supporting people affected by pancreatic illness.

What started as two people thousands of miles apart, connected through their experiences of illness, has developed into a friendship, partnership and shared international mission.

Erin is now available for inspirational and public speaking engagements throughout the United States, sharing her story with the same openness and determination that sits at the heart of Don’t Sit Up.

Together, Ray and Erin represent something rather special:

Two people. Two countries. Two very different journeys. One determination to turn experience into hope for somebody else.
