Cookie Policy

---

Effective / last updated: September 2026

This policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME TO BE INSERTED BEFORE PUBLICATION] (“Don’t Sit Up”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.dontsitup.com. It should be finalised after the live website has been scanned so that the cookie table matches the cookies actually in use.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies can also store or access information on a device. They can help a site function, remember choices, measure usage and, where used, support marketing.

2. Categories we may use

·       Strictly necessary cookies – required for core functions such as security, login, shopping or subscription checkout. These cannot always be switched off through a consent tool because the requested service cannot operate without them.

·       Functional cookies – remember optional settings or preferences.

·       Analytics cookies – help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

·       Advertising/marketing cookies – may be used to measure campaigns or tailor advertising, if Don’t Sit Up chooses to use these technologies.

3. Consent

Where UK law requires consent for a cookie or similar technology, we will seek consent before setting or accessing it. Refusing non-essential cookies should not prevent access to basic website functions, although some optional features may be affected.

4. Managing choices

Where available, use the website’s cookie settings or consent banner to accept, reject or change non-essential cookie choices. You can also control cookies through browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect login, checkout or other site functions.

5. Third-party technologies

Our website may integrate services supplied by third parties, for example website hosting, payment processing, embedded video, analytics, social-media features or membership tools. Those providers may set or access cookies in accordance with the choices and legal permissions that apply.

6. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when website technology changes. Questions can be sent through www.dontsitup.com or to inspire@dontsitup.com
